 A special favorite of ours from a series of roosters, chickens, poultry and barnyard fowl published in Germany circa 1890 as The Pocket-Book of Flying Breeds. The publishers fully exploited the capabilities of the new technique of chromolithographic color printing to create charming beautifully colored original prints of heritage breeds.
Handsomely framed in veneer burl moulding to a finished size of 6 1/4 x 8 3/8 inches, overall.
Excellent condition.
