An attractive, highly detailed, easily read plan with center city Philadelphia at the center of the map. The buildings and plan of the Centennial Exhibition (held in 1876, eight years before this publication) railroad lines, ferry routes, institutions, parks, wards, and streets are all clearly shown. The design extends to the far reaches of West Philadelphia and City Line Avenue on the left, north to Alleghany Avenue, south to Snyder Avenue and shows the Camden riverfront.
